From a first time blogger, thoughts about life from an American missionary now living in the US after years in Russia and doing a lot of back and forth. Family stuff, Christian content, sports innuendo and lots of quotes from good books.

More Sigs

More of the same...

* 99% of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.
* I am a nobody, nobody is perfect... therefore I am perfect!!
* "The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page."-St. Augustine
* You have reached the last page of the Internet. Please turn off your computer and go outside to play.
* "Life's tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid." - Greg Stejskal
* “I am now going to read aloud your submitted medical conditions. When you hear yours read, you will raise your hand to indicate that it is real. If you do not raise your hand, your disease will not be covered…Number one. Inverted penis.”
Dwight Schrute

Some Favorite Signatures of Posters I Know

I belong to a couple of travel and Russian forums. We all use handles which are interesting enough themselves but the signatures of some of these people crack me up. Most are travel related but some speak to more of a general outlook on life. Here's a few of my favorites:

I was going to buy a copy of The Power of Positive Thinking, then I thought: What good will that do?

Be the kind of person that when your feet hit the floor each morning, the Devil says "Oh crap, she's awake!"

Don't take life too seriously, nobody gets out alive.

"Attention Terrorists: You can run, but you'll only die tired"

This game is not as much fun as it used to be.

If at first you don't succeed, find out who's responsible and make them pay.

If we all are here to help others, then what exactly are others here for?

To understand another man's life, walk a mile in his shoes. Then walk another mile in his shoes. By then, he'll be too tired to come after you and you'll have a new pair of shoes!

Constituo, ergo sum (which means "I post, therefore I am")

More to come...
