From a first time blogger, thoughts about life from an American missionary now living in the US after years in Russia and doing a lot of back and forth. Family stuff, Christian content, sports innuendo and lots of quotes from good books.

Back in Novo

Tired, very tired, after a two trip to Novosibirsk. Today is May 1...May Day! This is a big patriotic holiday in Russia. No one is on the streets right now but tonight will be wild. More to come. I'm off for a nap right now.

Until then!

I'm Back and I'm Serious This Time

After I finally figured out the Blogspot to Google transition had to happen before I could post again, I'm finally back.

I've realized recently, amid the insanity of my life's pace, that less and less time has been given by me to reflection. My friend Wade says that "without disagreement nothing can be learned" and that is true. I say that without reflection I get old, boring and stale real quick. Wade's tag line is more flashy but I assure you mine is just as true.

For me blogging serves as a mode of reflection so get ready because I'z be about to start reflecting again!
